The stylish Escape features a fibreglass cabin atop the well proven 5.25mtr hull that Blue Fin has manufactured since early 2004. The boat is rated to 115HP but has proved itself well, with many customers running with 90Hp. The boat was designed with two 1800mm bunks and a Porta-potti as standard to enable the boat to be used as an overnighter and is supplied with LB9 bucket seats and a fold down lounge that is removable. Access to the built in anchor locker is through a large opening hatch which has a smoked acrylic panel set into it to allow light into the cabin.

“The cabin could just as easily have been your typically sparse tinnie cabin, but in this instance Blue Fin has tarted it up, made it a little more homely, with lining up to coaming up to top level, fabric squabs, carpeted floor, and yes, a Porta-potti is even fitted as standard issue. Sure it was not ‘super yacht ‘ stuff, but Blue Fin has certainly gone the extra yard to add a modicum of comfort to an area that on most aluminium cuddy configurations, is often most agricultural .
